This policy outlines the terms governing repair services provided by Mr. Tech Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By submitting your device for repair, you agree to these terms.
Legal Compliance: This policy complies with UK consumer law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977.
Data Loss Disclaimer
Backup Responsibility
You are solely responsible for backing up all data (files, software, passwords, etc.) before submitting your device. Repairs may involve resetting, formatting, or replacing storage components.
No Liability for Data Loss
We expressly exclude liability for any loss, corruption, or breach of data arising from repairs. This includes but is not limited to:
- Accidental deletion or damage during diagnostics/repairs
- Inherent device failure causing data loss
- Loss due to pre-existing conditions (e.g., malware, hardware degradation)
Important Notice: We strongly recommend backing up your data before any repair service. Mr. Tech Ltd cannot recover lost data resulting from repair processes.

Uncollected Goods Policy
Collection Period
Repaired devices must be collected within 90 days of notification (via email/phone).
Repair completion (including non repaired items) notification sent via SMS or email
Storage fees apply (£5/day)
Final written notice sent via SMS or email
Uncollected devices will be securely disposed
Disposal Process
Uncollected devices after 90 days will be:
- Securely destroyed (e.g., hard drives shredded)
- Recycled for parts
No compensation will be provided for disposed items.
We make every effort to contact customers using the provided contact information. Please ensure we have your current details.
Associated Costs
You remain liable for:
- Repair fees
- Storage costs (£5/day after Day 30)
- Disposal fees (if applicable)
Liability Limitations
Our liability is limited to the cost of repairs. We exclude liability for consequential losses or damage from pre-existing issues.
90-Day Warranty
All repairs come with a 90-day warranty (unless stated otherwise) against workmanship defects. Physical damage voids warranty.

Our technicians always follow strict internal policy to try insure the saftey of customer data and their devices.
General Terms
- Quotes: Diagnostic fees may apply if you decline repairs (£35 standard fee).
- Payment: Due upon collection. Unless stated otherwise
- Abandoned Devices: We reserve the right to dispose of non-repairable items after 90 days.
- Policy Updates: Revised policies will be displayed in-store and online at www.mrtechuk.co.uk/policy.
- Turnaround Time: Most repairs completed within 1-5 business days, subject to parts availability.
- Parts: We use manufacturer-approved or high-quality third-party parts unless otherwise requested.
